A community-based sports business model For a leading professional sports organisation we developed and helped implement a community-based business model in which its stadium acted as hub.

For other sports organisations, we valued the stadium and title rights and advised on the monetisation strategy with sponsors.

Nikolaas lectures on value creation in sports in the MBA programme "Sports Management" at the Sports Management Institute, in Papendal (The Netherlands).

We use sports and its community engagement as a metaphor for business strategy, e.g. in lectures at Wolters-Kluwer's Day for the Controller.
